    First Net is the first source for information related to Aboriginal employment, starting an Aboriginal business, education, scholarships and bursaries, and to learn about other First Nation communities within Nova Scotia. First Net is a project put together by the members of the Mi'kmaq Nova Scotia First Net Committee. The proposal and scope of work were prepared by the Economic Development Officers Network (EDON) and supported by the Economic Development working committee of the tripartite forum.

    This Native American Studies search engine has been created to aid researchers who wish to search many Native American-oriented websites at the same time. This engine is still very much in beta stage and I welcome all comments and suggestions for any sites that should be included in its index.
