- The Canadian Aboriginal Science and Technology Society (CASTS) is holding their sixth highly successful conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada September 18-20, 2003. The theme of the conference is "Integration of Science, Technology and Traditional Knowledge in Today's Environment". The CASTS Conference 2003 has six main areas of interest which are: Science and Technology, Health, Careers, Traditional Knowledge, Education and the Environment. The conference has a dual purpose of showcasing Aboriginal achievements in Science and Technology (S&T) while promoting S&T careers to Aboriginal peoples.
